: I have had an 88, 6cyl Wrangler Jeep for 8 years. The oil pressure stayed at about 60lbs when warm. On a trip home from work yesterday I noticed the pressure around 20lbs. Watching the pressure for several days, the pressure reads about 40lbs until it warms up then drops to 20lbs.
: A little overdue for an oil change, performed the oil change, no change in the oil pressure readings with the engine hot or cold. Any idea what is going on here and what tests I can perform to verify the oil is pumping fine. Don't want to just go to replacing parts and not knowing what it may be. Do not have the money to pay others to do the work or just keep buying and putting on parts at random.

: Sincerely,
: Charles Rhodes
