The scramblers that were sent to Austrailia, they were called an Overlander there, had tops like the one you describe. Scramblers were also used as postal jeeps in Alaska. These also had full length metal hard tops but they had no side windows, the Austrailian version did have side windows. There are a few pictures of them on the net. If i find one I'll let you know where it is. Oh, one more thing. From 1987 up until the early to mid 90's Scramblers were being sent to South America with wrangler front ends, these jeeps also had these full length metal with side windows.
