I have a 1990 YJ, 4.2, 5-speed. THe problem is the transfer case makes a popping noise or "slips" in 4wheel high at about 25 mph or so. It doesn't do it in 4wheel low or 2 wheel drive. Whats wrong?? Also, the 4x4 wouldn't work, so I replaced the vaccum line and it worked, but now it goes in and out of 4 wheel drive under acceleration. I've heard that this is the vaccum line running off of the front axle. Is this true?? Thanks!
