Sometimes deposits on the exhaust value will cause dieseling. Only real fix is to pull the head off and do a valve job. I've heard of people pouring "Marvil Mystery Oil" down the intake while it's running. It supposively breaks up any deposits. Smokes like hell...I can't say this I would recommend it. Check the timing also.
