From my experiance Jeep guages are a bit flaky. You may want to consider getting an after market replacement guage.
My 94 YJ's oil guage is permanently stuck at 40 and my fuel guage will stick at empty until I hit a good bump or jam on the brakes in reverse.
I'l probably be picking up a set of replacement guages soon.

: My 94 Wrangler's oil pressure gauge is pinned at 80 when I'm driving. Is this o.k.? It goes back down to 40 when I'm stopped. I get the oil changed every 3000-5000 miles. Should I get this checked?
