: Ran my cj into a major mudhole. Any tips on getting the H20 out of my engine are much welcome.

1st pull all of your sparkplugs, then with the coil wire disconnected crank the engine, this should force any H2O in the cylinders out.

Once you get the vehicle home, change all of your fluids.

Don't forget your transfer case and diffs.

Remove your distributor cap and check for dirt/H2O clean the cap and rotor and reinstall.

If you have a manual transmission check for mud/dirt inside your bellhousing, this can ruin your clutch and flywheel if you don't clean it out.

If you sucked mud/H2O through your intake you may be in for a complete rebuild, check with your local mechanic.

This should cover the majority of your problems.

Good Luck.
